As a separate employer, the rating agency is responsible for organizing its own collective bargaining and negotiations for unionized workers and setting pay levels for non-unionized workers. As such, the rating agency is responsible for negotiating collective agreements and negotiations with the following bargaining partners: the Public Service Alliance of Canada, the Tax Workers Union (PSAC-UTE) and the Professional Audit Service Institute of Canada, Financial and Scientific (PIPSC-AFS Group). Now that the interim agreement between PSAC/UTE and CRA has been approved by the Governor of the Council and the Governor General of Canada, the parties will sign the new collective agreement on Friday, November 13, 2020. The signing of the new collective agreement brings this round of negotiations to an end. We look forward to continuing to work closely with PSAC-UTE and to support the interests of workers and Canadians in future collective bargaining. With a victory for canada Revenue Agency (CRA) members who supported Canadians during this pandemic, PSAC-UTE has reached a preliminary agreement that provides for fair wages, no concessions and improved working conditions. We therefore assume that we will be able to sign the new collective agreement in mid-November in the absence of an emergency that would delay the cabinet meeting. We know you are all looking forward to hearing when the new collective agreement will finally be signed. Many of you have contacted us about this. Once we have received confirmation from the rating agency that it has received the Order to the Council, we will inform you of the exact date of signing of the new collective agreement.

The ratification kit, which contains the full text of the preliminary agreement, is now available for download. We are nearing the end of the voting period to ratify the new interim agreements for the PA, TC, EB, SV and PSAC-UTE groups. The PSAC held ratification votes for pa, TC, EB and PSAC-UTE members between August 24 and September 29, and from August 31 to October 5 for SV members in each psac region. To have the right to vote, you must: […] Here is the link to register for one of the information sessions. Please ensure that you have signed up for the CRA/UTE information meeting, as there are other PSAC components that also ratify their own agreements. The new collective agreements for the PA, TC and EB groups cover the period 2018-2021, while the new PSAC-UTE collective agreement covers the period 2016-2021. All agreements provide for fair wages, no concessions and improved working conditions. Our negotiating team unanimously recommends the ratification of the interim agreement. The cabinet is expected to meet in late October or early November to adopt our agreement.
